Back 2 School

The school year has officially begun, and we are excited here at Vine & Branches Lutheran Church & Childcare in Aldie, Virginia. We are a Church and Childcare together in mission, united in Christ and as the Bible advocates in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, we support one another and build each other up. In the spirit of unity, we wanted to start the school year with a special blessing for all educators at Vine & Branches. This includes not only our dedicated childcare teachers, but also our Sunday Spark leaders and all the Public School teachers within our congregation.

On Sunday, August 17th, we hosted a Back 2 School Service and Celebration! Pastor Chris led a heartfelt prayer over every teacher, asking for blessings and guidance for the school year ahead. His inspiring message highlighted the significance of being the body of Christ and he introduced our new theme verse for the year: 1 Corinthians 12:27, which reminds us, “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.”

Prior to the service, families from Vine & Branches Church & Childcare came together to create visual faith gifts for all our educators. These beautiful prayer calendars were presented to the teachers during the service, adding a special touch to the occasion. With these thoughtful gifts, our educators will have the opportunity to pray for and with their students throughout the school year, fostering a peaceful and joy-filled environment.

As we kick off this new academic year, we remain committed to praying for all schools, educators, and students in our community and the surrounding counties. We seek the Lord’s blessings for a successful year ahead, along with His guidance and protection for everyone involved.
